bq.should we give user the ability to change the read point, and also the
ScanType, from RETAIN_DELETE to DROP_DELETE?
May be not really needed. Those are so much internal and decision of that sort
to be taken by core code. Exposing these possibilities to CP may be dangerous.
Lets restrict and fix scope what we give for CPs.
