Well, I would completely agree with [[email protected]] that not only
Phoenix, but any coprocessor might benefit from that API. As for Phoenix we
rarely have to create workarounds and even if we do it, we file a new jira for
HBase (you may check the Phoenix code and find a lot of references to HBase
jiras).
