Yes I plan to add these methods back. But instead of returning an
InternalScanner, I prefer to provide a modifiable 'ScanOptions' to let CP users
change the max versions and TTL.
For in memory compaction, I agree that we need to introduce new hooks. Mind
opening a jira? Thanks.
