Josh Elser commented on HBASE-20369:
------------------------------------

Just had a quick chat with Triguna IRL:
 * The content on API compat actually came from Stack's canonical HBase 2
google doc:
[https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WCsVlnHjJeKUcl7wHwqb4z9iEu_ktczrlKHK8N4SZzs/edit#|https://docs.google.com/document/d/1WCsVlnHjJeKUcl7wHwqb4z9iEu_ktczrlKHK8N4SZzs/edit]
 * I think the AccessControlClient stuff can be nuked – it would only be
incompatible when compared to HBase 1.0 which I dno't think we really care
about ;)
 * These changes are really better represented as "Incompatibilities between
HBase 1 and HBase 2" – I'll be renaming this one.

I'll throw up one more patch for Triguna based on this (removing the very
bottom section covering ACC), renaming the Jira issue, and then I think I'm +1

[~busbey] or [~mdrob], do you folks have any more feedback?

> Hi,
> I compiled a  draft document for the HBase incompatibilities from the raw

> review and provide a feedback or share your comments on this document?
> Appreciate your support and time.
