that's just a thing GitHub does for anything you tag in a repo.
eg:
* https://github.com/apache/hbase/releases/tag/2.0.5RC1
* https://github.com/apache/hbase/releases/tag/rel%2F2.0.5
IMHO, if we're going to add anything to these kinds of tags, it's pointers to
the official artifacts. Anything else is likely to run afoul of ASF release
policy.
