For one, it makes evaluating the split meta patch plus recommended changes like
master local region possible.
Review may take a long time, better to be able to rebase.
If you have a feature branch, depending on how you assembled the patch, there
might be more than one commit, related to development in stages, and each stage
would be easier to review than the rollup.
