A security issue in a third party dependency has been raised as a concern. We
need a new release of hbase-thirdparty, 3.4.1, to complete, before 2.4.0 RC0
can be built. At this point the RC is waiting for the new release of
hbase-thirdparty to happen. That gives you time here [~brfrn169] [~zhangduo] I
have moved this out of 2.4.0 but it can be brought back in if the PR is merged
in time. I would encourage the code review on PR #2630 to move with all
deliberate haste if you want it to get in.
