https://github.com/apache/hbase/pull/4987, pending a clean precommit build.
FYI I following the guideline of [Table 10. Compatibility
Matrix|https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#hbase.versioning.post10] and [HBase
API Surface|https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#hbase.client.api.surface] to
find out this breaks the compatibility for this upcoming patch release
