bq. MetricsRegistry does not allow metrics to be removed.
1. As we don't use MetricsRegistry class and basically reimplementing it inside
BaseMetricsSourceImpl, should we also allow adding tags (MetricsTag) there?
Sounds like a useful feature.
2. Why do we need to remove metrics?
