I'm surprised to hear that. Are you using single-(') or double-quotes (")? I
would expect the latter to expand the variable.
It would also be nice to include the before and after balancer state, or at
least provide a {{-v}} verbose option that doesn't hide command results.
Perhaps that's yet another patch ;)
