I should have run 'mvn clean' after some changes I did. This patch addresses
the failure.
I should add that that this patch deletes a unit test from TestRegionPlacement
- the reason being two new tests that I added subsumes that one.
One more thing I forgot to mention earlier is that, the favorednodes are now
stored without the startcode (set to -1). In reality, we only care about the
hostname for the favorednodes stuff.
