Did some testing with ycsb? The scan throughput is improved by about 6.5% with
the latest patch. One issue with this testing is that the client side doesn't
do too much with the result, so the benefit of prefetching is not fully used.
By default, prefetching is enabled in the trunk version. To turn it of, users
have to turn it off in the Scan object.
In the 0.94 version, however, prefetching is disabled so as not to change the
existing behavior.
If no objection, I will push the trunk version in. However, for the 0.94
version, I will wait for [~lhofhansl] to have a review.
