In general, the Hive project should move away from allowing globs and other
wildcard expressions. It makes the product difficult to troubleshoot because a
wildcard has no context to know how many items are expected. When specifying a
discrete list of items, if any one of them is missing, an error should be
returned so that the problem is immediately apparent and visible.
