ASF GitHub Bot logged work on HIVE-23526: ----------------------------------------- Author: ASF GitHub Bot Created on: 04/Jun/20 14:21 Start Date: 04/Jun/20 14:21 Worklog Time Spent: 10m Work Description: dengzhhu653 commented on pull request #1029: URL: https://github.com/apache/hive/pull/1029#issuecomment-638880740 When I firstly see the exception, it's hard to associate the exception with the memory problem. the case can be fixed by set incremental to true, as trunk does. Agree that thrift should better handle the OOM Exception, as long as the connection is still alive, maybe there is a chance that the problem will see.
