Thanks [~ekoifman] for the review.
1. You're right about this. I've added an additional param indicating whether
that's strict mode or best effort mode.
2. I've removed lockInternal() and unlockInternal from abortTxns().
3. Added a list of 1010 elements.
4. copy & paste mistake. Corrected.
