Thanks both for the helpful feedback and detailed proposal. This gives me a much clearer picture of how general ML capabilities could fit into Hop. The Feature / Training / Inference approach makes sense to me, and I’d be happy to contribute to this work. I’m still getting familiar with the Spark engine architecture and how these parts fit into Hop, so I’ll first go through the development guidelines and the existing code to better understand the approach.
