Those are good points. Once HTRACE-209 is in, I'm going to revise this patch,
and then modify Hadoop to work with these changes... in the process of doing
that I usually uncover some things I might want to do differently in the API.
It might make more sense to re-combine this JIRA with HTRACE-214, since it's
not clear what the SpanReceiverPool API should look like without the rest of
the HTRACE-214 patch.
