## Before ➡️ After **Before:** Failed schema deletions dismiss their confirmation, and incomplete listings or lost responses can make retry unsafe or misleading. **After:** Keep graph and targets visible until a complete, trusted snapshot confirms deletion. Recheck usage before retries, separate read-only status checks from resubmission, reject ambiguous snapshots and close confirmed completion even if its UI callback throws. ## Why Base recovery on authoritative remaining objects, not transport success, while avoiding duplicate or silently skipped destructive requests. ## Validation boundary The author reports focused tests and controlled schema-browser scenarios. The author also reports combined functional CRUD/canvas checks; rendering timings affected by shared-machine contention are not a controlled performance comparison. Fixture results do not establish real-cluster persistence or complete current-head CI.
