## Before ➡️ After **Before:** Healthy registration can hide failed metrics collection, while repeated warnings obscure the affected source and configuration mismatch. **After:** Separate registration from collection health. Show bounded, redacted PD identity comparisons, accurate timestamps and source-specific node/group failures. Keep malformed member data isolated and provide endpoint-neutral repair guidance without guessing identities. ## Why Give operators enough evidence to correct configuration without exposing credentials or confusing reachability with successful collection. ## Validation boundary The source author reports focused tests and controlled browser fixtures. Actual endpoint correction, cluster readiness, authentication enforcement and multi-Server behavior require deployment validation. Complete current-head CI is not claimed.
