## Before → After **Before:** Profile roles can disagree with capability context, and background requests can keep an unattended browser session active. **After:** Prefer capability roles, add validated session timeout settings, and track human activity across tabs of the same login. Restore deployment preferences on new login and scope idle logout so a stale tab does not revoke a newer login. Tokens and password validity are unchanged. ## Validation boundary The author reports focused backend/frontend tests and controlled Chromium checks, including simulated-time expiry. These are not independent live-cluster or long-duration acceptance. A current review identifies handling of deployment timeout defaults outside the editable range as unresolved; this branch is still being updated.
