Before: Store quickstarts did not distinguish an operator-set state flag from process lifecycle or data readiness. After: Document the proposed `GET /-/lifecycle` states in both languages, the HTTP 404 behavior of older builds, and the separate checks required for PD registration and shard recovery. This depends on the paired Store lifecycle implementation and is not a claim that existing images provide the endpoint.
