Reproduced on head 7031ace in a clean Python 3.12 environment: the locked
Git-source Gradio package lacks frontend/index.html and the homepage test
fails. The published 6.31.0 wheel contains the frontend but requires Pillow
<13; the project will retain Pillow 13 and wait for an officially supported
release rather than introduce a custom frontend wheel or downgrade. This
remains unresolved.
