Hi @Tishj Yes, we are aware of that and that's one of the reason that we want to push to finalize the spec. Here is the situation: we have to release new parquet-java with new Variant logical type to be used in Iceberg so we can produce the Parquet file with variant logical type set. But to release new parquet-java, Parquet community requires the spec to be finalized. So it's not a bug and we have comments in the code indicating that we need to update after new parquet-java release. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
