extending on the above idea, we could have the standard factory to collect
and manage the shutdown call, instead of using `MoreExecutors`.
we could expose:
- manual shutdown of all pools started so far
- automatic shutdown
- ability to _opt out_ of the automatic shutdown
- ...?
it seems this should be quite simple to implement....
