Thanks @pvary and @mxm for the review and great suggestions. I will add the required accessor methods here under Flink package, Something like org.apache.flink.types.variant.BinaryVariantAccessorUtils. That will unblock me in supporting Array and Map types here. Wanted to go over the overall use case and design of it before having the extensive tests.
