@tanmayrauth would it be reasonable for me to take this on if no one else is working on it? If so feel free to assign me to this. I am looking to implement relative path support on disk for a hadoop catalog via a custom `IO` interface and I think allowing the hadoop catalog to use the `IO` abstraction would solve both issues at once. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
