For historical context I posted a few poc's a while back where we did other
appraoches
FileType is a Primtive and we promote it to "nested" when we do pruning and
other nestedy things
FileType is a Struct and we have special rules around schema changing and
field assignment
FileType is a Special Nested Type and we have special visitors
