Thanks @adiranjan25, and thanks for the offer. Yes, I plan to send the patch for this one. I'm waiting for a committer to say where the fix should go (predicate evaluation and binding, or a shared comparison layer) before writing it, for the same reason you gave: changing `Comparators` globally would also change the ordering of stored bounds.
