I have taken the idea from @rdblue's code and have named the method
`oldestAncestorFrom`.
Considering it is a utility method, please let me know if we are planning to
call `oldestAncestor` or `throw IllegalStateException` if `oldestAncestorFrom`
fails to find the oldest snapshot.
