Thanks @wypoon , I approved #7535 to restore the behavior. You guys may be right that its a specific property to IcebergCatalog types, it looks like due to Hive limitation, HiveCatalog will always be case insensitive to database/table names, and we cannot ever support caseSensitive db/table names, is it right?
