------------------------------------
Summary: Support CREATE DATABASE / DROP DATABASE (namespaces) on
Iceberg REST catalogs
Key: IMPALA-15503
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMPALA-15503
Project: IMPALA
Issue Type: Sub-task
Components: Catalog, Frontend
Reporter: Peter Rozsa
Impala has no code path to create or drop an Iceberg namespace.
{{CREATE DATABASE}} / {{DROP DATABASE}} should route to REST catalogs namespace
creation/deletion only if a REST catalog is attached to the coordinator.
