Hi @jihuayu , thanks for the suggestion. I agree with the direction of reusing and slightly extending the existing LogData mechanism, and I’ve updated the proposal accordingly. With the updated design, replicas can use the command context carried in LogData, together with the write batch records, to infer the original command semantics more accurately. Could you please review the current proposal again when you have time? If it looks reasonable, I’ll start working on the implementation. I’ll split the changes into reasonably scoped PRs to make review easier. Thanks again for your guidance!
