Jan Høydahl commented on SOLR-13977: ------------------------------------ Instead of setting such configs for each dev, there is something called {{.gitattributes}} that can be checked into the repo and set rules for what files must be checked in as CRLF etc. it also has much more power such as smarter diffs for Java or Python - have not tested it yet but I attach a patch [^SOLR-13977.patch] with such a file that I believe would do the trick.
