The `IndexVersionInvariants` test also caught this other pre-existing soft delete doc count bug on main: https://github.com/apache/lucene/pull/16996 I'd like to have that point fix merged first, and then the invariants tests in this PR can be updated to cover soft deletions better. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
