Unfortunately, I won't have time to get this in 8.6. It seems this issue only
affects users who are extending the CloudSolrClient, and there exists a
workaround that you mentioned. I'm also downgrading from from a blocker to
major. [~nyivan], if you can contribute a PR/patch to fix this issue, it would
be most appreciated.
