Moved this to doxia-sitetools as per confirmation it is the doxia-site-renderer
that causes it.
Your issue is caused by calling the versions-maven-plugin. And here you'll see
it is also [depending on
doxia-site-renderer|https://www.mojohaus.org/versions-maven-plugin/dependencies.html].
Once fixed, this plugin needs to be updated too.
It is not a Maven issue, but a specific plugin issue.
