The root pom still lists 2.2.1 as the minimum maven version supported,
however version 27 of the parent will not run as it fails on the
ban-known-bad-maven-versions test (which targets 3.0-3.0.3, but still picks up
2.2.1).
So, do we revert the parent (as I have done locally) to 26, or up the
minimum requirement? My preference is to finish off 1.9.5 under 2.2.1 and move
it forward from there (2.0?).
