While thinking over it I have two additional questions to @elharo and @desruisseaux: 1. Should legacy config matching Super POM defaults remain silent (DEBUG log only)? 2. Should we also fail (ERROR) when default legacy directories (src/main/java) exist on filesystem in a modular project, or keep that as WARNING for a gentler migration path?
