At least to me personally the 'version+-' syntax seems a bit overkill and ordinary ranges are sufficiently compact for the cases were one really needs them. I also assume that one can also write ranges on all common terminals in case one wants to define them via CLI. Therefore, if possible, I'd also vote for the proposal from https://github.com/apache/maven/pull/11786#issuecomment-4045549036, to fade out the deviating special syntax in invoker instead of make it available at more places. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
