Thanks @rpkrajewski. On Modello: master already expresses the deprecation, with an `@deprecated` line in the field description and `<annotation>@Deprecated(since = "4.0.0")</annotation>` in `maven.mdo` (0626123ea8). What was still missing is the wording, as the description kept saying that tools placing the POM in the repository update the field. #13444 rewords it: Maven itself never sets or updates it, and the value is only meaningful when written by repository tooling. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
