+1 to not surface it as an API cause right now it is a great way to break extension/plugins (runtime behavior is not well intended in concurrent "embed" usages. Think something more contract centric and maybe enabling to create an auto closeable classloader (literally) would be saner for plugins - this is current pattern in practise instead of classrealm. ClassRealm is mainly useful to hack maven and this can always be done statically with dynamism done with this new classloader (mven resolver friendly) api.
