It's a bug, not intended. docClassesToTargets is a plain `private String docClassesToTargets = "article,report,..."` field, no @Parameter(defaultValue=...), so the "default" here is just the Java field initializer. The configurator (Sisu/Plexus component configurator) never calls the setter for an explicitly empty element: AbstractBasicConverter.fromExpression treats a zero-length value the same as a missing one and returns null, so the field is simply left untouched at its initializer value instead of being set to "". Same root cause as MNG-6434 (#7420). Already fixed upstream: eclipse-sisu/sisu-project#279 (tracking issue eclipse-sisu/sisu-project#167). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
