I also think this row key implementation would be very helpful (if not
necessary) if we want to implement Profiler Client APIs in languages that
aren't JVM based. For example, the magic number can help identify byte-order
differences, the version number helps us version changes over time, and the
size fields allow us to reliably parse each value from the row key.
