I like the flexibility of the new MessageGetter stuff. I don't understand
when I would use a `DEFAULT_JSON_FROM_FIELD` versus a `JSON_FROM_FIELD`. Some
basic javadocs on those new classes would probably answer that question and
others. Maybe I am missing them, but I don't see unit tests for those classes
either.
