Resolution: Fixed
Using Azul Zulu JDK 17.0.2 on Ubuntu Linux 21.10 shows a successful start up of
NiFi following the upgrade of snappy-java to 1.1.8.4.
NiFi Registry, NiFi Stateless, and MiNiFi also start successfully on Azul Zulu
JDK 17.0.2.
Marking this issue as fixed given successful startup operation.
Specific extension components and particular features may require additional
adjustments for successful runtime operation on Java 17. Further work is
necessary to build on Java 17 and progress can be tracked in additional tasks.
