[~msr1716]this is a really good example of the danger of bumping versions with 
the hope/belief that projects follow things like semantic versioning.  For some 
you can count on it but for many, including many important ones, we cannot.  
What I'd ask is that in addition to flagging opportunities to change from one 
version to another you please include some findings on what the documentation 
for these releases say.  It is mentioned in bouncycastle pages what David is 
talking about and indeed we found the size change to be shocking (happily in 
their next release we're going to be ok again it seems).
