Consider options for disabling animations when opening menus or switching tabs.
By default the animation is enabled. A noop animation provider could be
provided in the app module to completely turn the animations off. We could
consider tying into prefes-reduction-motion to drive the configured provider
[1]. Or we could investigate the ability to update it through the UI.
