Github runners marked {{runs-on: windows-2025}} will be migrated to Visual
Studio 2026 starting on 8 June 2026:

Check if MiNiFi will continue to build and run when compiled with VS 2026. If
there are minor issues, then fix them; if there are too many issues to fix
quickly, then (until all issues are fixed) change the CI jobs {{ci.yml}} and
{{create-release-artifacts.yml}} to run on {{windows-2022}} as explained in the
announcement above.
