@exceptionfactory ok, I see the disconnect now. This is in no way intended to be specifically for Python developers. The inspiration came when looking at the discussions on the future of Python and seeing my own peers' use of Python in the 1.X era. The implementation is formally language agnostic and intended to just close the loop here to allow a simple interface for non-JVM developers to mutate contents and submit attribute updates.
