   Thanks for the clarification on scope and applicability @MikeThomsen.
   
   I agree that there is value in providing a way to pass FlowFile attributes 
to external scripts, regardless of language.
   
   The primary concern then is the approach. Writing temporary files for every 
invocation is concerning and should be avoided for potential performance and 
access issues.
   
   The Processor already supports dynamic properties, which can be used to pass 
named FlowFile attributes as named environment variables. That should cover the 
majority of use cases. It does require enumerating possible variables and 
attributes, but it also bounds the Processor configuration contract in a clear 
way.
